Xbri Cubiertas volunteers reinforce values with children from Hogar Las Tías

In a day marked by learning and solidarity, the staff of Xbri Cubiertas, active sponsors of Hogar Las Tías, led an informative talk on values and self-esteem for the children and teenagers at the shelter. The activity, held last Saturday, is part of the company's social commitment, which beyond providing financial help invests in human support and the well-rounded education of the children.

Rebeca Ríos, an Xbri Cubiertas team member, stressed the importance of instilling values in children, both for their personal growth and to prepare them for the future. “We want to help them become people with values, well prepared for the moment they enter working life and as individuals in society,” she said.

During the talk, the children took part in a presentation on honesty, love and teamwork, followed by a crafts session where they expressed what they had learned. Animated short films were then screened to encourage empathy, collaboration and sincerity.

Xbri Cubiertas staff take part voluntarily in a range of activities at the home, whether through time, ideas or financial support, in addition to the company's own contribution. The firm invites more people to join initiatives like these to strengthen their positive impact on the community.

For her part, Cristina Brítez, director of Hogar Las Tías, expressed her gratitude for the firm's constant support. “We are very blessed. We currently have 73 children and on Monday (today) two more will join us, arriving from Pedro Juan Caballero. Xbri stands with us in this great effort, covering salaries, food, diapers, milk for the babies and many other needs,” she said.

Beyond financial assistance, the company is actively involved in the children's well-being with weekend activities such as painting days, talks on environmental care and health, English classes and motivational workshops. “We have many teenagers lacking self-esteem and values, and Xbri's staff help them with that,” the director added.
