Xbri Cubiertas and Hogar Las Tías celebrated Independence Day

Marking another anniversary of National Independence, the company Xbri Cubiertas held a special day with the children of Hogar Las Tías in Ciudad del Este. The activity took place over the weekend as part of the support the firm provides every two weeks, combining recreational, educational and cultural programming.

“Today we talked about our roots and the history of Paraguay. We are a Paraguayan company that wants to give more back to society, and we believe we can also teach by spending time with the children,” said Ricardo Paoli, Marketing Manager at Xbri Cubiertas.

During the day, the children took part in songs, dances and other cultural performances prepared with the support of company staff. In total, some 30 people joined the activity, although the firm points out that all of its employees contribute in some way to organizing it.

“Beyond financial assistance, we want to be present. Sometimes we come with books, stories, drawings, English and math classes. But we also take the time to make these gatherings emotionally and culturally meaningful,” Paoli said.

The visits take place every 15 days and are part of Xbri's social responsibility program. Besides encouraging learning and creativity, they aim to offer affection and support to children going through difficult circumstances.

“Many now greet us with hugs, they feel confident. They call us uncles and aunts, and that shows the bond being built,” the company spokesperson said.
